Tim Smith

FINANCIAL ASSOCIATE WITH THRIVENT. I am married to Debbie Smith (32 years) and we have 2 adult children Jillian and Kai. We also have 2 grandson’s Malachi (7) and Zion (1). We live in Clermont and have been here for 16 years. Retired from Orange County Public Schools, with my 32 years teaching at West Orange High School. While there I was VERY active with FCA as both Huddle Coach and actively taking athletes to camps every summer. As a coach I was head football coach for 17 years and I also coached track and field, softball, bowling, and weightlifting. I was honored to be selected as Teacher of the Year for West Orange HS and also was Huddle Coach of the year for Central Florida FCA. Debbie and I are active members of First United Methodist Church of Clermont and serve on several boards. It is such an honor to serve on this board and I am hoping to repay FCA for all the support I received as a coach, husband and man in my personal walk with service to South Lake coaches and students. Let’s go change some lives!
