Mary Berens

Hi! My name is Mary Berens.

I proudly served the Central Florida FCA and Coaches Ministry as an Administrative Assistant from 2006 to 2010. I was then called to join a growing company whose mission was to build communities of individuals and organizations around the world through local, virtual and conference networking, education and knowledge sharing opportunities to better utilize their Microsoft Dynamics business software.

After a brief semi-retirement in August 2018, I’m now excited to return to FCA with a renewed passion to serve the South Lake community through Coaches and Athletes!

But, how did I get here? I was blessed to grow up in Florida with incredible Christian parents who lived and shared their personal relationship with Jesus Christ everyday. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of South Florida in 1990, #GOBULLS, I realized that I too needed that personal relationship with Jesus Christ!
 
I married my college sweetheart, Robbie Berens, in 1993 and we continue to be blessed by our three wonderful daughters, Olivia, Emily and Katie, who are currently navigating their young adult lives through their undergraduate (University of Florida), graduate (University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences) and early careers (Loews Royal Pacific Resort). I am also blessed to share this life with my son Chris who lives in Jacksonville with his new wife Jill. Chris's birth in 1986 is one of the reasons for this favorite Bible verse...

Now that you know a little about what got me to this point in my life, I’m really just a wife and mom who humbly accepts that my real passion lies in sharing God's love by using the gifts that He gave me to serve Him each and every day!
